About Roarer

A focused workout tracker for training programs, free sessions and clean training history. Built by two people who got tired of the alternatives.

Most training apps fail in one of two directions. Either they turn the gym into a social network, with feeds, likes and followers wrapped around what should be a logbook, or they are so bare that people give up and go back to a spreadsheet that is miserable to use between sets.

Roarer is the third option: a calm app that takes training programs seriously. You plan, you follow the plan, you log what you actually did, and you can see the history afterwards without digging through anything.

Roarer is an iOS first mobile app, with Android to follow, backed by our own server so your training survives a lost phone. The core is a training program you can build or copy, run session by session, and adapt whenever your schedule or your gym changes.

Around that core sit the things a serious lifter actually needs: free workouts for off plan days, a diary for every exercise, body measurements, and a history you can edit when you fat finger a number mid set.

No social feed, no follower counts, no likes. No streaks that guilt you into training on a day you should rest. No algorithm inventing your program from a personality quiz. No selling your training data, ever.

Saying no to those is what keeps the app fast and the screens readable while you are standing under a bar.

Roarer is in active development and not yet published on the App Store or Google Play. The backend and the app are both built and being tested internally; this site is where release news, comparisons and training articles land first.

The articles are written by us, not spun out of a keyword tool, and where we cite research we link the actual paper so you can check it.

Roarer is made by a small independent team, funded by us rather than by investors, which is why the roadmap is short and honest. If you want the legal details of the entity behind the app, they are in the imprint.

Feedback, bug reports, partnership ideas and press questions all go to [email protected]. We read every message, and early feedback has a real chance of changing what ships.
