Roarer features

What the app actually does, in detail, so you can tell in five minutes whether it fits how you train.

Multi week training programs

A program in Roarer is a real plan, not a list of favourites. You choose how many weeks it runs, add workouts to each week, and fill every workout with exercises and their target sets, reps and weight. Reorder anything, copy a workout into another week, or pull a session from a different program entirely.

One program is active at a time. That is what lets the app answer the question you actually have at the gym door: which session is next, and how much of the plan is behind me.

  • Any number of weeks, any number of workouts per week
  • Target sets, reps, weight and notes per exercise
  • Copy a workout between programs and weeks
  • Ready made base programs you can save as your own editable copy
  • Archive finished programs without losing their history

Free workouts for the days off plan

Travel, a busy week, a gym that is missing the rack you needed: those days still count. A free workout starts empty, you add exercises as you go, and it is saved in the same history as programmed sessions. You can also copy the exercises from any planned workout as a starting point and then change your mind halfway through.

Set logging built for the rest between sets

Logging a set is weight, reps and add. Each exercise shows what you did last time so you are not guessing, there is a rest timer with your own default, and a note field for the set where something felt off. Swap an exercise mid session and only that session changes, your program stays as written.

History and a diary for every exercise

Every completed session is stored with its date, duration, exercises and sets, and you can reopen and correct it later. Each exercise also has its own diary: every set of that movement you have ever logged, newest first, with a chart of your working weight over the last week, month or year.

Body measurements over time

Weight plus ten circumferences, from neck and chest to thigh and calf, recorded whenever you take them. Weight entered here also updates your profile, so the number you see is the last one you actually measured rather than something you typed in once at signup.

Units, languages and your data

Kilograms or pounds, centimetres or inches, switched in settings and applied everywhere. The app ships in English and Russian, and exercise names arrive already translated from the server. Your training lives on our server so a lost phone does not cost you a year of logs, and you can delete any set, session or the whole account from inside the app.
